Thank you for your interest in joining NHS Charities Together. Our constitution, and the licensing agreement we have from the Department of Health & Social Care to fundraise nationally on behalf of the NHS, mean that we can only accept official NHS charities and NHS charitable funds as members. These are the registered charities that provide the legal mechanism for each NHS Trust or Health Board across the UK to receive, manage and disburse charitable funds.

NHS Charities Together can only grant funds to its members, who then make decisions locally, in consultation with their Trust/Health Board management teams and clinical leads, about how best to direct the funding to meet local needs and priorities that best support those affected by Covid-19, in line with the Trust’s or Health Board’s strategic priorities. This may involve developing partnerships and collaborative projects with other local charities and service delivery organisations to support those affected by Covid-19 within the hospital and the wider community. You’ll find a directory of our current membership on our website here.
